The United Way of Blair County is making sure prom is a night to remember.
On Friday, the charity handed out free dresses – part of the annual Glass Slipper Project.
There will be three distribution dates in total.
Organizers said this year has their biggest selection yet and they’re at a new location.
“We have gowns and when I say we have gowns we have hundred of gowns,” Melanie Shildt, executive director of United Way of Blair County said.”Over 500 to start our distribution. We are set up on the second level of the Logan Valley Mall, right across from Old Navy.
The next distribution will be Sat., Feb. 25 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and again on March 18 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
