The United Way of the Laurel Highlands kicked off it’s 2016 campaign Wednesday, highlighting some of the good the non-profit has done for Cambria and Somerset counties.

The president talked about a new program called “Botvin,” a nationwide evidence-based drug and alcohol prevention program.

After finding drug and alcohol prevention efforts a top need in the community, United Way was able to bring the Botvin program to all 26 local schools.
