Police in Centre County are looking for an armed robber.

State College Police say around 3:30 A.M. Monday, two Penn State Students said they were robbed at gunpoint. The victims say they were walking eastbound on East Beaver Avenue near South Garner Street when a man turned around and tried to talk to them. He then started to follow them.

They say the man then stopped them demanded them to empty their pockets and pointed a gun at them. He told them to turn around and walk away. They obliged, before hearing a gun shot and running away. 

They say the man was an older college aged black male, 6’0” tall approximately 190 pounds, with an extended goatee.
