Two arrests were made following a month-long investigation.
Police say Bobby Brantley, 32, and Anthony Jenkins, 32, both from outside of the region. are facing several charges in connection to a drug bust.
Brantley is charged with two counts of persons not to possess a firearm and one count each of possession with intent to deliver (heroin), possession of a controlled substance (heroin) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jenkins is charged with one count each of possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and failure to comply with the registration requirements of Megan’s Law.
A search warrant was executed at 721 Grove Avenue, leading to the seizure of 24 bags of suspected heroin, with a value of $480. Also seized were two handguns and $700. Counterfeit money also was seized.
This is an ongoing investigation. Also participating in this investigation are the Johnstown Police Department, the FBI, the Cambria County Drug Task Force and Cambria County SERT. The defendants will be prosecuted by the Cambria County District Attorney’s office.
