The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises motorists that a single-lane pattern will be in effect for the next three nights to continue concrete repairs on a bridge near milepost 130 in Bedford County as follows:

  • Tuesday at 9 p.m., the left lane will be closed to westbound traffic from milepost 132 to 129. The lane will reopen at 9 a.m. on June 22.
  • At 9 p.m. on June 22, the left lane will be closed to eastbound traffic from milepost 129 to 130. The lane will reopen at 9 a.m. on June 23.
  • At 9 p.m. on June 23, the right lane will be closed to eastbound traffic from milepost 129 to 130. The lane will reopen at 9 a.m. on June 24.

The lane restrictions are expected to cause delays for travelers between the Bedford Interchange, Exit 146, and the Somerset Interchange, Exit 110, while crews make additional deck repairs to the bridge carrying Turnpike traffic over State Route 3012 (New Baltimore Road).

Motorists traveling on the Turnpike should stay alert for slow-moving or stopped traffic. Drivers are urged to obey posted speed limits and use extra caution in the area.
