A portion of Route 219 in Somerset County has a new lane restriction.
PennDot says between Burkholder Road and Owl Hollow road, Route 219 will be down to a single lane due to a depression in the road.
There will be stop signals put in place to help traffic
“We’re not sure what’s causing it so we thought it would be necessary to put lane restriction in place and we’re going to have engineers comes out from Hollidaysburg and assess the situation,” said Assistant County Manager Dale Bihun.
The change will stay in place for the foreseeable future until an asphalt solution can be made.
