A Bigler Township supervisor took the stand again today at Day 3 of his rape trial.

Robert Myers, 36, Madera, said he never had any sexual contact with the teenage girl.

Under questioning, he also said he physically couldn’t have done some of the things he’s accused of.

A defense attorney said the story was made up in May 2015, only 13 days before a primary election.

On Tuesday, the teen’s mom testified that her daughter sent her text messages about abuse, and they then went to the Woodland police barracks.

The jury chose to deliberate tomorrow.
