Today marks 20 years Nexstar has been a company.
To celebrate, we are working to give 20,000 volunteer hours to communities across the country.
WTAJ employees spent the day at the teen shelter in Altoona gutting a basement, trimming hedges, power
washing, scraping, landscaping and more.
These efforts will help the teen center open its doors to the community later this year.
The teen center will serve any kid between the ages of 12 and 17 before or after school.
It will also provide a place to live for up to nine kids.
