Teen pleads guilty to killing Waters

More than a year and a half after the murder of 21-year-old Stephanie Waters a second teen has plead guilty to killing her.

Tueday, Deauntay Moye entered a guilty plea of First Degree Murder for the death of Waters back in January 2015.

Moye admits to pulling the trigger twice that killed Waters. At the time Moye was 16, Ryan Hardwick his accomplice was 15. Hardwick pleaded guilty to murder back in May.

Police say Hardwick and Deauntay Moye went to buy marijuana from Waters’ boyfriend, but she went to make the sale instead. Police believe the duo killed Waters and her dog, smoked the weed, and drove around with her body in the back seat of their car.

Moye is scheduled to be sentenced in December. He is looking at a minimum of 35-years. Hardwick is scheduled to be sentenced in October and is also looking at a minimum of 35-years.
