If tea is your thing you must check out Pamela’s Victorian Tea House.
Pamela Wertman greets every visitor with a warm welcome, “We only do loose leaf tea here. We have about 45 different kinds and flavors.”
With a passion for tea as big as her hat, she and her husband will take you back in time to enjoy a proper tea party.
“I just never dreamed that i would have my own building or much less a mansion,” smiled Wertman.
The historic Bell Mansion was built in 1822. It has been restored, but you will fill as if you stepped back in time.
All of the food items on the menu, even a grilled cheese and tomato soup is tied into tea service.
“We do birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers we did a few weddings here,” said Wertman.
The tea house is open by appointment only. Pamela’s husband George makes all of the food in the kitchen and the menu changes throughout the year.
