The 1st  Annual “Fall Taste of Downtown Altoona” will be coming our way in October in an effort to reintroduce downtown restaurants to the public while benefiting the local arts groups.

 

Those groups include the Blair County Arts Foundation, the Altoona Area Public Library, and the Altoona Community Theater.

 

The sponsor of this new event is the Greater Altoona Economic Development Corporation.

 

Executive Director Pat Miller tells us what we can expect from the event.  “A fun time, good food, fellowship and an opportunity to support the arts.”

 

Tickets are available at the participating arts groups for $20. 

 

The event is set for Sunday, October 16th at 4-pm, after the Steelers game.
