It’s been nearly a year now since State College and Penn State Police departments implemented a new taser program.
Since then, a Taser Advisory Committee was formed to monitor officers’ use of the crime-fighting tool and they’re getting ready to share their findings, but before they do, they want community feedback.
The committee will host a town hall February 10 at 7:00 p.m. in the State College Borough Building. They encourage folks to come out and learn about the findings and policies in place for the police departments to follow with taser use.
