A Punxsutawney supermarket gets a new name and a new owner.

The County Market is now Shop ‘N Save. The store says new owner Tim Krise has been making improvements since October.

Krise says it was a multi-million dollar purchase and the store has 96 employees, with about half of those being full-time.

He’s also instituting a free shuttle van for customers spending at least $50 on groceries who also live within a 10-mile radius.

“I didn’t want to see the store close. The community needed another store and this was in the heart of the community and we just didn’t want to see a vacant building here, so I got involved and we came up with a solution and a plan to keep the store going,” says Krise.

The store was giving away free bags of sugar and the old owner was also there for the grand re-opening.
