The superintendent at Greater Johnstown School District has resigned.
On May 3, the district’s school board accepted the resignation of James Cekada.
Officials say Cekada will be transferred to a newly created position as the director of student services.
Director of Education Michael Vuckovich will now serve as the interim superintendent, while the district advertises the open position.
