Bishop McCort High School is hosting its third annual Mini-THON, which raises money for the Four Diamonds Fund to beat childhood cancer. So far, they’ve almost reached their $10,000 goal.

More than 250 students will pull an all-nighter dancing, playing games and eating food.

One student who helped plan the event said she’s happy to help make a difference.

“So if young people can go out into the world and accomplish their goals, it’s something I’d like to be a part of and make possible for them. Mini-THON is a great way to do that and give these kids an opportunity to grow up and make the world a better place,” said Adeline Mishler, the Mini-THON chair.

There will be a public mass held at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 11, to kick off the event. The event runs until 8 a.m. Sunday, March 12.
