An area animal shelter is thanking a state trooper for getting four stolen pups back.
Two people were caught on security video Monday stealing the puppies from the Pet Adoption League in Westmoreland County.
The shelter says the same people came back twice.
The first time they took one Doberman Pinscher puppy.
The next day they took three more Doberman puppies.
Using security footage State police were able to track the puppies down at a home in Jeanette.
