GREENE TOWNSHIP, CLINTON COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — State Police in Clinton County responded to a fatal two-vehicle crash involving a deer. 

At approximately 7 a.m on Wednesday, a Ford F-550 truck was traveling eastbound on East Valley Road in Greene Township in the area of Lazy Eight Trail.

A dodge caravan was traveling west at the same location when a deer ran onto the roadway of the truck resulting in the truck striking the deer. 

The deer was then thrown into the path of travel of the van subsequently skipping off the hood and crashing through the passenger side front windshield. 

After going through the windshield, the deer caused fatal injury to the passenger.

The driver of the fan related that due to the poor condition of his passenger, he continued to travel to Nicolas Meats where emergency crews were called out.
