A police standoff in Altoona ended early Tuesday morning with no one in custody.

Officers were called out to the 300 block of 11th Street around 6:30 p.m. Monday.

WTAJ News received many calls and reports that shots were fired, although that has not been confirmed by police.  It was also believed that someone barricaded themselves in the home and was armed.

The Altoona Police Department obtained a warrant to enter the home just after midnight, but when they came out of the house, no one was in custody and it appeared no one was inside the house.

Details remain very limited, as this remains an active investigation.
