Police there are investigating an attempted homicide in Jefferson County.
State Police responded to a domestic situation at a home on Toadtown Road in Clover Township just before 9:30 Wednesday night.
Police say after an argument, Kimberly Moats fired a shot from a 30-30 caliber rifle at her partner, just missing him.
Moats then fled the scene. When she later returned, she was taken into police custody.
Moats is now facing attempted homicide and aggravated assault charges.
