Schlow library celebrated its 60th birthday.
 
The library was founded in the home of Charles and Bella Schlow. The couple volunteered two rooms in their home for about three years. After they moved to an old post office near the same location. The library underwent major renovations 11 years ago. The library’s director says the library has been going strong since. 
 
“More than 360,000 people walk through these doors. Last year we circulated over 700,000 physical items like books and dvd’s and had over 1 million online visitors,” said Director Cathi Alloway.
