We want to remind you about a scam  involving state law enforcement.

 

We’re told scammers are calling area residents stating they are with the State Police. They ask for donations for various causes and some even pose as Troopers saying the caller needs to send money to avoid legal troubles.

 

State Police have never and will never call asking for money.
