For the first time since his arrest, Jerry Sandusky could take the stand.
The convicted child molester has been working to get a new trial since his 2012 conviction.
On Tuesday, a Centre County judge ruled that Sandusky’s attorneys are permitted to file the appropriate paperwork so he can testify.
There is no word if Sandusky will actually take the stand but this is the first step in allowing him to do so.
He’s expected back in court August 12, 2016.
Sandusky did not take the stand in his original trial.
