Clearfield County residents, who are upset about a new injection well coming to the area will have a chance to voice their concerns Tuesday night.
Earlier this year, a local drilling engineer applied to put the well 7,000 feet into the ground in Huston Township. Officials say it’s to dispose of waste water and it’s perfectly safe.
The State DEP will hold a public hearing on the permit request Tuesday night.
The meeting will be held at the Penfield Grange Hall and is set to begin at 6 p.m.
