Many residents were preparing for Memorial Day at the Union Cemetery in Claysburg, Sunday.
Some were there planting flowers to spruce up the cemetery.
On Memorial Day, stories will be shared about those buried at the cemetery along with a brief history of Claysburg from the Revolutionary War to the present.
The service will begin at 11 a.m. May 30.
