Although, the IRC Buckhorn Recycling and Compost Facility located in Blair County will continue to accept electronics from all residents and small businesses, residents will notice a few changes to the program. Electronics recycling has become a challenge for many residents and communities across the state.  Many communities are closing the doors to their electronics program.  There are costs related to electronics recycling and in an effort to cover some of these costs and continue the program the IRC Board approved a schedule of fees for electronics recycling at the January meeting.  Some electronics will continue to be collected for recycling at no charge.
