Pilgrim’s Pride is recalling 4.5-million pounds of cooked chicken products.
The recall comes after consumers and federal inspectors found contamination by foreign material such as wood, plastic, rubber, and metal.
The chicken products were sold to schools and other institutions under several different brand names.
No adverse reactions have been reported.
