There has been a lot of enthusiasm from voters of both political parties, that includes the younger generation.
Millennials showed up in full force at Penn State to vote the morning. The HUB is the state’s largest polling site.
Some students admitted they skipped class today to make sure their voters were heard.
The issues most students appear to be concerned about are healthcare, climate change and the economy.
Alex Weaver told us, “Almost everyone I’ve talked to is voting, I say. At least among my peers except for one of my roommates isn’t voting.”
“I really haven’t had to nudge no one. Everyone I know has been very excited for this day and excited to vote,” said Daniel Stauffer.
Centre County Commissioners are on standby to help with crowd control and keeping the lines moving. So far no issues have been reported.
