Bedford businesswomen gathered Friday to celebrate their accomplishments and learn from each other.
The Bedford County Chamber of Commerce partnered with UPMC Health Plan to host the program at the Bedford Omni Springs Resort. This is the third year for the event. Each year, guest speakers and break-out sessions are featured. The program is designed to educate, inspire and empower local professional women.
“I was just in a breakout session and you know people were just participating like crazy,” said Marcia O’Rear, President of Steltek Graphics. “So it’s very interactive and I think that’s what makes it a great learning experience.”
The event was hosted from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. It wrapped up with a fashion show by a new business in town, Juli’s Wearable Art.
