Hastings Borough Police say two young people are going door to door posing as NRG Energy employees .
Police say while one asks questions, and distracts the homeowner, the other gains entry and steals credit cards and other items.
Police say there have been similar reports in Patton and Carolltown.
The first suspect is described as a heavyset African American male in his 20’s, around 5′-7″. The second suspect is described as a slender woman about 5′-6″, with brownish skintones.
