Police say a DuBois man shoved his 11-month-old son to the floor, along with the boy’s mother.
It happened around 7 p.m. on Monday on Circle Road.
The complaint says the woman was there to let the boy see his father, but instead, Matthew Witherite, 19, held a pillow over her mouth.
Police say Witherite also slashed her car tires, and smashed the car’s windows, leaving blood on them.
She ran to a nearby church on Kilmer Road, police said. Witherite’s facing unlawful restraint and assault charges.
He was taken to the Clearfield County Jail and his bail was set at $50,000, according to court records.
