The investigation into how a woman’s dead body ended up in Ferguson Township continues and police want to hear from her friends and family.

Police don’t know much about Corinne Pena, that’s why they’re urging anyone who knew her to come forward.

Pena was 35 years old with a child in elementary school. She was from the Philadelphia area. Police believe she was recently staying in the Williamsport area, but are trying to determine where she was the day before she died, why she was in State College and who she was with.

The Centre County Coroner’s office is awaiting toxicology tests to determine the cause of death. Pena was found dead along Plainfield Road in Pine Grove Mills Sunday morning. Police believe her body was dumped there sometime between 11:00 p.m. Saturday and 3:20 a.m. Sunday.

Anyone with information is asked to call Ferguson Township Police.
