The Bellefonte Police Department released a statement after one of its officers crashed a car.
It happened on Saturday. A Bellefonte Police officer’s car drove up the side of a stone wall on Willowbank Street in the borough.
The department said the accident has been turned over to an outside police agency for investigation and said more details will be released once that investigation is complete.
