One man is dead and the alleged shooter is no longer in police custody.
A dispute between neighbors in Reade Township ended in gunfire late Wednesday night.
State Police responded to a home in Fallentimber after shots were fired. They found a 21-year-old man in his home with the victim, 52-year-old Wilmer McClellan.
Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees says McClellan was likely in the neighborhood visiting his son who lives nearby.
When police first arrived they discovered an explosive device in the front yard and had to call in a bomb squad. They entered the home after they determined it was safe to do so.
Investigators believe that McClellan went to the house where he and the 21-year-old man got into a fight.
Police say the 21-year-old pulled out a pistol and shot McClellan. That man was detained and questioned by police but we are told no charges have been filed and he is no longer in police custody.
The investigation continues.
