Police are asking for the public’s help in an ongoing investigation of a fatal car crash.

State Police in Lamar said 43 year old Sherry Wargo, of Beech Creek, was driving on Eagle Valley Road, near Masden Hollow Road in Beech Creek Township Friday night, when she hit a road sign, overcorrected and then crashed into a steel cable fence.

Wargo was ejected from the vehicle. She was taken to Geisinger Medical Center, where she later died from her injuries.

Police ask anyone who may have information about the crash to call.
