A 27 mile police chase ended in a pair of arrests yesterday in Mifflin County.

 

A 23 year old man and woman from Morrisdale are in custody. Police say they tried to stop the vehicle along US 322 in Armagh Township after a traffic violation. The driver fled from police and led them on a chase through Mifflin and Centre counties. During the pursuit the driver and passenger allegedly switched positions. Police used spike strips to stop the vehicle. According to the report both drivers were under the influence of drugs.
