Friday is a special day for WTAJ and Nexstar Broadcasting as we are celebrating the company’s 20th Anniversary.
In honor of the special day, we will be holding our Founder’s Day of Caring. WTAJ staff will be helping fix up the new Altoona Teen Shelter on 6th Avenue.
With over 100 stations in the Nexstar family, the company is hoping to have 20,000 hours of community service today. For each hour of community service, the company will donate $1 to the charity or non-profit that station is helping.
