A Penn State student has died from injuries sustained during an incident at a fraternity house on Friday.
University officials confirm Timothy Piazza passed away on Saturday after an accident at Beta Theta Pi fraternity. He was an engineering major from Lebanon, NJ in his fourth semester.
State College Police are investigating the incident.
“Our deepest sympathy goes out to Tim’s family and friends during this mournful time,” Lisa Powers, a Penn State spokeswoman said.
Student Affairs staff through CAPS is reaching out to students who need counseling.
