PA stores approved to sell wine

You’ll soon be able to buy wine in Pennsylvania supermarkets and other non-state stores. On Wednesday, the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board approved 84 permits for expanded wine sales.

The board says as soon as these stores obtain wine from the PLCB, they’ll be able to sell it. So far, in our region, only 3 stores, one each  in Altoona, State College, and DuBois have been approved to sell wine.

Giant Food Stores, Northland Center, State College

Giant Eagle Supermarket, Sophira Lane, Altoona

Super Sub & Six Pack, Mccraken Run Road, Dubois
