The owner of Snap Fitness in Blair County said members are getting refunds.

 

Last week, the Duncansville location shutdown unexpectedly and gym members are concerned about their payments and future fees.

 

The owner denied an on-camera interview to explain what happened, but sent WTAJ a statement saying, “I realize it was sudden and the members did not have a decent warning. I have refunded the people that deserved a refund.”

 

A former member said she appreciates the response.

 

“I’m glad that he finally contacted, it took a week… But I am glad that he reached out to his customers and that he is refunding the money,” Tracey Hostler, a former gym member said.

 

A former employee said the Altoona location is expected to close at the end of the month.
