The renovations at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena to replace the 66-year old floor and update the ice making system are on schedule.
Officials with the Johnstown Tomahawks say the work will be completed by mid-September.
The new system will be more efficient, allowing for better ice quality and at the same time helping the arena save significant costs on utilities.
Renovations are expected to be completed on time mid-September.
