Due to the threat of rain and the dense fog that is predicted to follow, DelGrosso’s Amusement Park will not host a fireworks show Monday evening. Instead, Summer Thunder 2016 has been postponed until Friday or Saturday.
You may remember last year fog made it nearly impossible to see the fireworks display and organizers do not want a repeat of events.
Here is the statement from organizers:
Due to the inclement weather and low visibility, Summer Thunder 2016 has officially been postponed and will take place this Friday (7/8) or Saturday (7/9), weather depending.
Our Annual VIP Dinner Reception will take place this evening, as planned.
We want our guests to have the most enjoyable Summer Thunder experience as possible, and unfortunately that is something that today’s weather will not allow. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
