You can shop, bank, gamble and date online and now research suggests you may even get effective treatment for depression, online

Doctors at the University of Pittsburgh led a study with more than 700 patients dealing with depression and anxiety. They found that people who used an online program for behavioral therapy reported significant improvements in their mood and anxiety.

Researchers say the findings may  transform the way mental health care is delivered, especially where the access to care is limited,  or for people who have transportation difficulties or work and home obligations, that make in-person counseling difficult to obtain.
