One person taken to hospital after house fire

UPPER YODER TOWNSHIP, CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Charges have been filed in relation to a house fire Monday night in Upper Yoder Township.

Gregory Z. Clem, 64, has been charged with arson, aggravated arson, causing catastrophe and recklessly endangering another person, according to police.

The fire happened shortly after 10 p.m. Monday night at a house on Menoher Blvd.

One female victim sustained second and third-degree burns over a large portion of her body, according to Cambria County District Attorney Greg Neugebauer.

The victim was transported to the West Penn Burn Center in Pittsburgh and is currently in critical but stable condition, according to Neugebauer.

Clem is currently in Cambria County Prison and is unable to post bail. He has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Sept. 2.
