52 year old Michael Winchester was fatally shot in the parking lot of Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma.   

He died at a nearby hospital.

Winchester is the father of Kansas City Chiefs player James Winchester.

According to police, the suspected gunman was found dead in a truck on the second level of the airport’s parking garage from a gunshot wound that may have been self-inflicted.

All inbound and outbound commercial flights were canceled.

People inside the airport were told to shelter in place… while heavily armed police went car-by-car, looking for the suspect.
