Hours before the Clearfield Community Pool opens to the public, some of the region’s best swimmers hit the pool for a few laps.
The Clearfield Area High School swimming team swept the District 9 title for both the Boys’ and Girls’ teams this winter. In March, several swimmers also took home medals from the state competition.
From the YMCA, to summer meets, and the scholastic competitions the Clearfield area has a strong swimming tradition.
Jackie Morrison has been teaching and guiding these young athletes for years.
