There’s a bill in Harrisburg that would stop legislators and the Governor from getting paid if they can’t get a budget passed on time.
State Rep. Daniel McNeill says the pay suspension would not include staff and once the budget is passed, the lawmakers would get their back pay.
This bill is part of a legislative package introduced by House Democrats to improve transparency and confidence in state government.
