The Penn State Nittany Lions have returned home from Pasadena, following their wild 52-49 loss to USC in the Rose Bowl.
Some fans were out in the cold and rain to welcome the team back. Players were dropped off at the Lasch Building, after making the trip back from the Harrisburg airport.
While many students aren’t back on campus yet from winter break, die hard fans greeted the team as they drove through campus Tuesday night.
“We’re so proud of them. It was an amazing season,” Dana Wilcox said. “Nobody thought we’d do it. I wore this shirt in 2009, greatest show in college football. We proved it, proved it this season. It’s so much more than football here.”
Some media outlets are already predicting Penn State could make it to the National Championship next year.
