The Windber Area School District just named their next superintendent.
Joe Kimmel was chosen in Tuesday’s school board meeting to take over as superintendent and business manager for the district.
Kimmel currently serves the same position at Northern Cambria School District and will replace Rick Huffman, who is retiring.
His first day will be July 14.
