We are working to learn more about a new factory that could be coming to the area.
According to a press release, a cabinet factory is looking to expand with a new manufacturing facility in Huntingdon County.
Officials with Echelon Cabinetry and Advanta Cabinets say the companies are coming to a modern industrial park located in Mt. Union.
They plan to move into a 200,000 square foot building sitting on 36 acres of land with a parking lot capable of supporting 18-hundred employees. There is no word if that’s how many people the businesses are looking to hire, but manufacturing is set to begin next year.
