Borough leaders in State College want to improve the experience users have on their cell phones by increasing network speed.  

 

Council members approved a proposal from Crown Castle, the nation’s largest wireless infrastructure provider, allowing them to add 12 new antennas on top of borough utility poles. 

 

This would increase speeds for cell phone users on the four major cellular carriers.
